Mike O'Neill
Mike O’Neill is the President and Founder of First Contact. He is a leader in the application of technology to political and advocacy campaigns and the development of campaign strategies.
Prior to founding the Company in 1997 O’Neill had been a field organizer for the Ontario Liberal Party, a staff member for the Leader of the Opposition at Queen’s Park and had managed or worked full-time on more than 30 campaigns including federal, provincial, and municipal elections, Party nominations and leaderships.
O’Neill designed and delivered the Campaign Manager Training Course for the Ontario Liberal Party in 2003, 2007 and 2011 and the Liberal Party of Canada (Ontario) in 2011. He has frequently appeared as a speaker and panelist at Party events, Campaigns and Elections election training seminars, at Canadian universities and for NGO’s..
O’Neill is a graduate of Queen’s (MBA) and Carleton (BA Political Science) Universities.
Barb
Barb has worked on every First Contact campaign since 1999, primarily as a vendor and call centre manager, call centre agent trainer and supervisor. Her experience includes federal, provincial, and municipal elections, Party nominations and leaderships, membership and delegate recruitment and recruiting citizen involvement in public affairs campaigns.
Radha
Radha has worked on every First Contact campaign since 1999, primarily as a vendor and call centre manager, call centre agent trainer and supervisor. Her experience includes federal, provincial, and municipal elections, Party nominations and leaderships, membership and delegate recruitment and recruiting citizen involvement in public affairs campaigns.
Radha is a graduate of Ryerson University (Bachelor of Commerce).
Indra
Indra has worked on every First Contact campaign since 1999, primarily as a vendor and call centre manager, call centre agent trainer and supervisor. Indra is a graduate of Carleton University.
Steve
Steve is a lifelong political activist who has worked with First Contact in every General Election since 1997, primarily in client relations and program management.
Steve has been active in politics since 1974 as a volunteer, campaign worker and financial contributor to progressive candidates and causes. Over the years, he has also volunteered his time and contributed resources to various health, education, and arts-related organizations.
Steve has an Honors Business Administration degree from the Ivey School of Business at Western University. In his professional life, Steve has over 30 years of experience in designing, developing and delivering learning curriculum for universities and corporations, with a specialization in creating new approaches for entry-level and continuing-education training programs for large-scale contact centres.
Bob
Bob is a lifelong political activist, campaign worker, political staffer and public affairs professional. He has worked with First Contact in every General Election since 1997, primarily in client relations.
Bob has broad experience with public affairs campaigns, most recently focused on building healthcare coalitions and patient advocacy groups.
Bob attended Carleton University.
Tom
Tom is a programmer and systems designer. Over the past 12 years he has built First Contact’s extensive online presence and real-time connections to the Company’s call centre, broadcasting and database partners.
Tom is a graduate of Laurier University.
Colleen
Colleen has been First Contact’s bookkeeper since 2000 and has helped design the precise system by which the Company accounts for all client activity. Colleen is a lifelong supporter of the Ontario Liberal Party and the Liberal Party of Canada.
Colleen is a graduate of the University of Toronto.
J
J is a social media expert with more than ten years experience getting organizations and campaigns online quickly and efficiently. He is a pro at using new technologies to achieve results in a quick and efficient manner using tools like Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and websites.
Julien
Julien is a political activist and experienced public affairs professional who worked on national, provincial and leadership campaigns and was a client before joining First Contact.
Julien manages programs for First Contact in Quebec, including overseeing call centre operations. He is bilingual, speaking English and French.
Dave
Dave is a longtime campaign volunteer who has worked with First Contact since 2006, primarily in client relations. Dave has worked on national and provincial election campaigns.
Dave is a graduate of Carleton University (B.A. Political Science).
